I am a certified Integral Development Coach, a certified Lewis Deep Democracy Instructor and Facilitator, and have trained extensively in Systemic Coaching & Constellations and the Enneagram. I offer facilitation in a wide array of different relational and organisational contexts. My facilitation style works with group dynamics, and issues under the surface that may not have been voiced yet. I support diverse views to surface, enabling groups to engage with difference, work through areas that are stuck, and generate creative solutions together, establishing responsibility and buy in from all involved.
This facilitation approach supports groups to work together more generatively in the long term. The Enneagram is one of the most powerful and dynamic systems in existence for seeing and understanding our unconscious inner experience, behavioural patterns and motivations. It is also a system that unlocks your capacity for deep empathy and compassion - for yourself and others.
For those who are ready, the Enneagram offers rich and time-tested wisdom for lifelong growth and development.
It offers sharp distinctions and holds many layers and complexities that bring nuance and grace to understanding adult personality.
Most importantly, it helps us develop presence, so that we have more choice to grow beyond our identified roles, our idealised self-image, and unconscious personality behaviours.
The Enneagram is not about putting people into rigid boxes. In fact, it’s the very opposite. Sadly, it’s most often used just as a personality assessment tool. This has limited value, for many reasons. One core reason is that it is extremely difficult to self-type, as personality is mostly unconscious. A second reason is that using this deeply powerful system as simply a personality assessment tool can serve as a way for us to double down on ingrained patterns - the opposite of development.
Personality is just a complex strategy for getting your instinctual needs met. It is a defence mechanism. The Enneagram is less concerned about this rigid way of navigating in the world, and more concerned with being an open window through which you can dis-identify with your unconscious behaviour, see clearly your motivations, and become more freely who you are. It not a static or personality system, in fact, it has a growth model integrated within it.
A great first step into the Enneagram is accurately identifying your type, learning more about human instincts, or simply learning the nuts and bolts of the Enneagram system itself.
